Well was back working on the car yesterday and with rubbing paint ofo of certain surfaces so welding could be done i uncovered quite a few bits of rust.

The questions are..

Where is the best place to buy replacement panels. I've only really came across beaver panels - are these panels any use? Genuine appears to be a bit of a pain to get hold of.

For people that have actually carried out bodywork repair - how hard is it to put on complete rear quarters, complete front and rear ends. My friend is a coded welder so welding isn't an issue but neither of us have tackled bodywork before.

Thanks for the help people.

P.S unsure if this thread is in the right section.

front and rear ends are easy, you'll have to work abit harder on the prep for the rear quarters

I'm worried about the rear quarters not sitting right etc....

I couldn't see any guides or anything.

I took lots of photos of replacing my rear quarters in my WIP, so take a look. I'm a novice welder and had never attempted such large bodywork before but it wasn't too difficult.

I used Beevers quarters, they fitted up well except I struggled to get one B pillar to line up (again, pics in WIP), but filler sorted that out lol
