all gsi's were fitted in the factory with f13cr, as were gte's as were 1.0 12v corsa b's but possibly with a different final drive....

WHY ISN'T THIS IN MECHANICAL???????

I know you get 2 types of f13 cr and wb but does anyone know how mant teeth are on 5th gear in a cr box?
In my gsi box 4th and 5th are the same ratio! I feel it may have been tampered with,

i'm guessing you have a wr gearset from 1-4 & a cr 5th gear.. cos 4th in a wr is the same as 5th in a cr.

the design of the box means 1st to 4th is in one set & cannot be messed with

Ah I posted a similar question on mig and the best reply I got was I probably had a 4th or 5th out of a wr in my cr box, but when I changed my gsi box for my F13 cr from my gte the gears felt much better suited to the car, so what your saying makes perfect sence, I just need a little time to get the box opened up and have a peek.

about 10 minutes to be exact.. just pull the cluster out. you need a decent drip tray

I'll bring the box down from the workshop and do it the back porch, it'll give the missus something to clean up lol
