Ok:d i know there is a wheel fitment guide on here (which i have read)

I have just tried a 14' vauxhall alloy wheel on my Nova. It has a 195/60/14 tyre and appears very close:eek: (about 3-4mm) to the rear shock. There is, however adequate clearance to the arch side.

Do you think it will be ok to run these wheels being so close to the shock?

I am sure that a lot of people here run 195 tyres so im guessing this issue has come up before:confused:

Standard rear shocks or coilovers?

And it's a standard rear beam, with Nova fitment wheels? ET45-49?

Arte you measuring the clearance with the car still jacked up, because the shock moves away from the tyre when you put it back on the floor due to the angle change.

They are Astra/Cav Lxi wheels, standard rear beam

I lowered the car off the jack, and bounced it a bit..! Didn't make a difference

prob because they are 195-60's. if you has 185-60 or 175-65, the tyres will be further away from the shock
