Are there any visable differences between 1.4 16v corsa engine to a 1.6 16v corsa engine?

Cheers.

If the police pulled you up would they be able to tell the difference or a mechanic?

Cheers.

The engine number would tell them what size it is (C16 XE or C14 XE) I think the Corsa 16v engines are ?

Cheers. I don't know enough about the differences in the two engines mate. You won't get any advice on here about scamming insurers though.

You wrap the car with an undeclared engine (and they find out) and it's us law abiding drivers with all modifications declared that suffer with higher premiums as a result.

Technically if you got pulled they wouldn't look between the block and Gbox for the engine code and you'd probs get away with it, but that's like saying if you got pulled with a bag of coke and told them it was talc that's a good thing to do

if you can't get done for speeding with a 1.4 16v, then you need to learn how to drive, and not fit a bigger engine.
