Savage 3.5 or 4.6?
I've currently got a elec losi drift-r, which isn't as easy as it looks. And I dug out my vintage schumacher nitro 10 storm truck, currenty undergoing a rebuild and planning to put in a .21 engine and 3 speed box :thumb:
errrrrrr errrrrr errrr probably 3.5 lol
if I ever find some time again, ill carry on designing the truggy hybrid thing I came up with a few years back, but I guess most stuff has moved on so something equivalent is available and better lol
oh and it has http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.php?partNo=101400&lang=en

schumacher fusion, and a x-ray
sulphur
03-02-10, 11:00 PM
Are those fusions any good? Imo, they're too fast to actually be useable, unless you charging down a straight, smooth as fook road.
Stuart, you own a bullet?
no, but its pretty much what I designed years ago lol

naw the schumacher fusion is good, mine the older gen that still goes 80mph but has a smaller engine. you have to be good with them to hodl the power. nott easy i must admit. sounds mint when you hear it change in to the final gear!, but that schumacher manic look well nice has a mini v engine! mental
Savage same as stu, two infact as i crashed one at full speed, 2nd gear into a kurb/post/hedge/tree.
Kyosho somthing, thunger tiger that i got for a tenner and then broke the conrod and smashed the piston up.

.
funk me you must have had some pace as I've done all kinds of evil to my savage at 'top speed' and the worst damage is cracking the engine plate and bending a damper rod lol. Even landing at funny angles from 20foot up dosent cause problems

Those savage are supposed to be proper robust, so you must've been doing silly speeds lol

Nitro all the way. Only have the Losi as an intro to drifting, but after trying out a mates HPI RS4, nitro's easier for drifting. lol
Edit: Matt, any pics of what you've still got?

matt you got a lower servo bolt for a fg ? its a "special" kinda of self tapper apparently
I hit the kurb first, bent the chassis (well the front two end bits), split the diff open, smashed many of the suspension bits, the heatsink bit of the head lost a fin or two, and then the biggest bit ended up smashed into a tree with some other stuff broke.
That day epic sucked.
ive been into racing for years but not been in the last 12 months.
Ive got a box full of brand new and used savage spares let me know if interested.
