when my car goes in for its respray the badge will be coming off so should i put it back on or leave it with out what do you think looks best:confused:

theres a hole underneath it on the mk2 bonnet but personally i would remove it :thumb:

best to weld and grind it. sounds like cost there might get stuck back on haha its costing me enough haha.ive been trying to find the badge it should have but none on ebay:(

Perfect time to remove it if it's going in for a respray. Won't take long to weld up and smooth the holes, they're only small.

You will probably find it's got a dent under the badge where you lean on it to close the bonnet though. Does however look much better and well worth it, lose the side repeaters and aerial at the same time :thumb:

Not on a mk2, indicators extend round the sides enough to not need them.

depends on how you want it to look, i went for as std as i could possibly get , so kept badge and aerial etc , now it think i should have lost the aerial

smoothing everything on the front end is probably the single best thing I did to my old one, with me holding a spray gun shortly after being the worst lol
