Morning all

What numbers should be stamped inside under the carpet?

Should it be the same as the long one on the vin?

Any pics?

Yeah, should be VSX00000...............

Unless has been reshelled with a brand new shell, then there will be nothing.

Ahhhhhh, so that explains something lol

There was a gte in one of the local breakers about 18 months ago, i was just getting into novas, and my dad said look for the chassis number there, and google it to see what model it was, Purely as a learning excercise, but I couldnt find it anywere lol

More likely it was stolen back in the day!

PMSL Ben. When I saw Matt's reply I too was wondering what delights were in store for us. lol

Was this GTE in above average condition then Ben? If it had a brand new shell, chances are it had doors, wings etc too.

I meant to say Matt. Fail. lol @ red cap :@

He knows what he saw though. I think it was probably a pre-facelift mk2 (v1) GSi though.
