had my car at the garage to get checked over as its not running very well
its a 1.0 1990
i put new leads, plugs, rotar arm, points on it
the locating tab in the rotar arm has worn away after being on for couple hours
when i put the rotar arm on it will spin round the distributor
what can cause this to wear away so quick, the spindle thing it sits on has no play side to side but moves in and out slightly
would that cause it to jam inside the cap and wear away
ive took the distribor off just now and a friend is stripping it down for me
