hiya im new on the site just thought id could see if i could get some info..
i bought a mk1 nova rally car its running a x16xe its just had a fresh build but i have had many problems already.. firstly the car is pinking real bad so checked timing and that was spot on but noticed there was no cam sensor so looked further into it and it seems to be running well to be honest i have no clue what loom is in there, i been told the early gsi corsa has no transponder so is the easiest loom to wire in? secondly the head gasket went after 450 miles of running in,the guy is trying to blame me because i drove it with it pinking but im sure pinking wouldnt cause head gasket to go ??
id be very greatfull with any advice on the wiringas its not my best subject!!
