Multi championship winning class 1 nova rally car.

We have run this nova for 10 years and it has brought home many many trophys, never finished out the top 3 in class positions
and has even finished well inside the top 10 on numerous occasions (including Swansea Bay, Twyford Wood etc).

Shell...
3 door non sunroof shell, was professionally built from new and used in Ireland on the tarmac championships, imported by us in 2005 and was used to re-shell our tired Nova.
It is fully seam welded throughout, Hockley plating kit fitted, double skinned front chassis rails, braized window and door appertures, pilbeam multipoint bolt in roll cage with X diagonal and front triangulation to turret tops.
Booked in at the body shop over the next few weeks for 2x new quarter panels, new sills and a new front panel to keep it looking tidy. Painted in BMW dakar yellow, 10mm alloy sump guard.

Engine....
Heavily modified 1300cc engine, lightened and balanced bottom end, ARP big end bolts shot peened conrods, machined block to take Mahle 1200 pistons, Autosprint big valve, ported head, custom valve springs, kent ast2 cam, baffled sump, acl race bearings, heavy duty cam followers, irmscher inlet, twin 40 webers.
Last rolling road figure was 132 bhp, revs to 8k with ease.

Gearbox....
Quaife f10 straight cut, close ratio gearkit, zero miles since rebuild, built into a f13 casing, Gripper plate diff with f20 side gears to take GPA shafts, 4.5 crown wheel and pinion, positive engagement selector.

Steering & Suspension....
Front Bilstein coil overs with a choice of international tarmac spec damper, and group A gravel damper inserts.
12inch 200lbs springs, 12inch 220lbs springs, 14inch 180lbs springs.
Choice of Harry Hockley eccentric top mounts or pro-tec consentric top mounts, GP A front hubs/ knuckles and thicker driveshafts with 2.0 inner and outer cv joints
Group N bushes all round, rose jointed track rod ends,
The rear has got Bilstein dampers with both gravel and tarmac springs. Quaife quick rack, corsa adjustable epas.

brakes....
calibra 16v calipers on the front with grooved discs, mintex 1155, 1166 and 1177 compound pads, rear has the VAG R2 type caliper setup with grooved discs, mintex 1155 pads, goodridge hoses all round, bias pedal box, dash adjuster, hydraulic up-right hand brake,

Spec also includes....
tank guard, all brake & fuel lines inside, Sabelt 5 point 3 inch harnesses, alloy seat rails, varley red top battery, twin facet red top pumps, filter king, dash mounted fuse box, map lights, poly windows, lamp pod, spot brackets, pro-wired, helmet net, corsa internal linkage, and much much more.....!!!

This is a very well sorted little car that has had numerous giant killing results and is more than capable of continuing to do so in the right hands.
