just been looking around my car and noticed there is a slight oil leak coming from the sump, iv looked and theres 2 sump gaskets together could this be the problem?
All the original cork ones are like that, take it off and fit a rubber one
get a x20xev one, and use 8v bolts
or use the chris astley motorsport uprated one, mine has never leaked since (touch wood).lol
let me guess... CA one is a bonded c20xe gasket, instead of the loose ones the dealer sells?

also whay would i have to use 8v bolts?
8v bolts are shorter, if you use the xev or 2.0 8v one with xe bolts they bottom out and bugger the studs. you sure yours hasnt been gobbed up with silicone.

lol thats what i thought. so the cris astley 'uprated' c20xe gasket is just a x20xev one.
x20xev is: rubber-plate-rubber, in one piece.
iirc vectra's are x20xev's
Yes 2.0 16v ecos are x20xev's
