hello, what is the best way,to remove stuck on brake pipes(from rear cylinders),without damaging the shape of the nut if can be helped, open end spanner just slips off. :confused:

Alternative method is molegrips, however you will almost definatly kill the end, however you can replace the small ammount of tube from the flexi to the cylinder.
But try the other method first, this is an alternative if it all fails.
Or if all else fails and you can live with having to replace the copper line between the flexi and the drum cylinder, just cut the line flush with the brass union and undo it with a socket.

As above;
I took the opportunity to also replace the wheel cylinders which are only a few quid at the same time! Saves messing about then finding the bleed nipple shears!

i was replacing the cylinder, all sorted now thanks
