I had a customer at my garage before xmas with a 51 plate clio 1.2 16v and she rang up with a back wheel locked up ( 95% sure a lineing had just come off a brake shoe as usual on these ) .
We buy any car offered £1100 so she put adeposit on another car . when they came to colect it they classed it as a non runner / spares only and offered £300 but they had to knock £130 off that for the truck to collect it :eek: :eek: :eek: .

I run my own garage but i wouldnt knock £800 off the value of a car because a old woman didnt realise it needed £30 worth of brake shoes .:eek:
