Might help to sell it if you know which one it is...f10/f13/f20 etc

Its stamped on the top by the gear selector box

On the end of the box (wheel arch end) there should be a number stamped into the casing which identifies the final drive ratio, thus what speeds or driving characteristic a buyer can expect.
