Does anyone have any information about these cars ?

Toyota supra mk3

HERE (http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1455823.htm) : Is the one I'm looking at currently as it's only a few miles away !

I have very little, except the insurance on the turbo is more than I can afford lol (as expected I suppose) :thumb:

Cheers

Uk have glass healdamps Jap have plastic, think the rear lights are slightly diff on a jap car but cant remember 100%

equipment levels are usually higher on Uk cars also

im talking of the last supra, is this the one you mean?

Craig (saloony) had a Mk3 a while back. Think his was the turbo though.

Sparkie, you're thinking of the MkIV.

I'd have to be looking at the non turbo to afford the insurance.

I have looked into the Nissian Silvia s12 (http://pistonheads.com/sales/1457226.htm) as that the only silvia I like (1.8 turbo ?).

Not really into Drifting, I just want a RWD car for a little bit as I've never had one.

my bro actually had a turbo(single) one off those in black it was a G or H plate

was a nice car, had very expensive 18" OZ splitrims on it and looked ace, he put the standard rims on to sell it and it instantly looked horrid

he put nearly £300 of fuel in it in a week lol

was a great car to be rude in though lol

Yeah thats what I think, Nice set of alloys and new suspension ect.. and your onto a winner hopefully.

Wasn't sure if the 3.0 was a bit underpowered in standard form as I don't intend on changing much engine wise.

headgaskets go on no6 pot, waterpumps get noisey, and bushes dry out. avoid autos, the boxes bust at 120k and are pricey, diffs need the right oil, esp. on the lsd cars. also any car fitted with tvss the security system, have the habit of frying their alarm ecu and locking the car and engine ecu.

I had the N/A 3.0ltr Jack ;-)

Ahhhh so here we are, Mr Sloth with the scare tatics again. H/gaskets do fail at 100k, fair cop its made it that far, and they easy to do, i had to do mine cos some Toyota quailfied monkey who did it previous dropped the head breaking the gasket, clever.
Waterpump, fcuk sake dude, thats any bloody car. Auto's, i had one, and if you go look at some of the newer MK4's that are dragging there ar5e down the strip with near on 1000bhp are autos... hmmmmm wonder why, maybe its because they make one of the toughest auto going. The auto is creamy, once shes up to temp changes without so much as a kick.
Diff needs the right oil... so does an engine funnily enough. Correct specs are easily found, oil easily replaced and inexpensive, and as a temp, 'wrong oil is better than no oil'.
Oh i forgot about bushes, silly me.. you'd dry up like a nuns vag after many years and miles of service. Again, they are expensive, but still available and when replaced (if tired of course) do improve the drive easily.

So all that thats been said... normal stuff really. Mr Sloth may get off his imaginary high horse one day (apparently its a white one). They drive awsomely, leg room in the back is sh!te, they're built by tiny people for tiny people, and a bag of balast in the boot wouldnt go amiss, they are really light on the ar5e and does like to pop up front and say hello. Any further questions just ask, ill give you some educated ones.

Oh and there stunning, this was my weapon;
