Vauxhall part numbers?

This could be a very silly question!

For example just say, Ignition leads e16se :GM part number OEF1234

Would that part number be the same for aftermarket Ignition leads for the e16se or is it just for GM parts?

Does anyone have a list of part numbers or know where i could find them :)

all companies use different part numbers... they might produce lists for cross reference purposes.....
