Bigger, more glorified iTouch i know, but i still want one - discuss lol
if they get to keep the name of course ;)
at a predicted £300 for the base model I want one, unless someone can present an equiv for less

not going to be that cheap, i'd say, looking at other product's it'll be about £420 for basic spec one...
eg white macbook, $999 in the states, £816 in the uk
mac mini, $599 in the States, £510 in the uk
iMac, $1,199 in the states, £969 in the uk
working it out from that, would equal £420ish
apple dont do uk prices at the conversion rates, they always add more on to our prices
iirc it was guessed $400 for the base model... so a £300 uk price would be sensible.
If they price it too high no one will buy them at all as they are an extra gimmick to the gadget stash and not a laptop/ipod replacement

they do look really nice. depoending on what it has, whats the point,
IMO it has to have, all the basic functions of a laptop, maybe not a CD drive. and the functions of an ipod touch/ game wise and music wise.
which in turn makes it as very small laptop. like the eeeeeeeeasy pc's or what ever they are called.
and at 300 quid, thats a good price IMO.
if it doesnt have the above, and is just a bigger ipod touch, its pointless.

my thinking's exaactly, be great so sat on sofa, browsing web, while watching tv, without my heavly & hot laptop burning my legs lol

i tend to sit at the table in the backroom watching tv at the min, using laptop, so would do the same with a macbook..
if the iPad, came with aperture or adobe did lightroom for it, i'd be made up, would be great for editing photo's quickly and easy

and you are the 2nd person in a hooooooooj number of folks I know of with an iPone that also has a macbook... it apepars that most of us macbook folks dont like the iPone lol (my BB syncs easily to the mac ;) )
the only thing i hold against apple is its rigidity.
they try and prevent music copying and other law breaking things by how they set up their software.
but IMO if someone wants some music, they are gonna get it. maybe its itunes that annoys me, and not apple. apple in general do seem very basic and for simple people. where as windows allows you to edit things in the bios etc etc.

and a worst spec mac will cost you more than the higher spec PC. Now piss off you iTard!
actually I only got mine because at the time it was the cheapest laptop of the spec required that had a DVI port on it... all the other PC based ones were a good 20% more you bread gnome :p
Now though, I probably wouldnt buy a new one for the reaming on offer(unless the refurb store has an uber bargin)
lol I still reckon that computers scare you so you got one with stabalisers on.
stabalisers for porn surfing makes life easy, rather than having to put software onto a windoze machine to babysit it though naughty stuff lol
I can't wait for a hacker to decide to write a serious virus for a Mac. You are not immune. Hell it may even be me. Looks like I may have to develop my apps for the horrible rotten fruit machines in the near future......be afraid!!:eek:
I know there are viruses etc for macs.. well I think there are two in general knowledge lol. But it takes a lot of user acceptance to get installed etc, so a proper virus would need to be super baad ass to get in under the nose of the user.
its just unix with a prettyish face, so no need to be so cranky about them :p

EDIT: I do like unix and I also have an iPod Touch which I love.....however the fanbois piss me off!

only thing above that is wrong is that the i****pad thing does have a headphone jack.. apart from that I do think it's very crap!
^^^ last image is abit wrong, seeing as it's got a headphone jack, can output video's, can get a usb or card reader for it ;)

I hate itunes with a passion and on that basis steer clear of any ibased products. Although fo like the look of there products more than the rivals.
