or possibly the washer that sits behind one of the sensors on the thermostat.

two small to be a sump sealing ring and why would it be in a head gasket set. would of though it would be in a bottom end gasket set. and could possibly be the CTS switch on the thermostat houseing but i didnt think the rings were removeable

The cts washer should be removable.. and is prob that.
