Well a friend of a friend has an engine for sale which i have 2nd refusal on its a 2L redtop turbo with 56k on the clock i cant prove this but i trust the guy. Come with ECU and i think with the wiring aswel. Thats all i know. What would you say the engine,ecu and wiring is worth? just to get an idea. cheers

BUT TBH LET engines fetch around £800-1100 IIRC. Just to give you a rough idea.

2, why does it need a new turbo?
C, how do you know anything's wrong with the wiring?

I quite fancy putting my let in a mk4 astra.

Ben: Its lasted fine so far, no noises or anything, Did Combe open day in sept and lots of road thrashing. Done about 3-4k too. If i nail it in 4/5th i get a lil clutch slip, but think that's normal.
