Heya guys am hoping for around about 180bhp from my c20xe in the end :)

Would that be a "goodish" power for the track and around the road? What sort of power to weight ratio would i get? (Nova's going to be stripped)

And finaly what do i need to see 180 bhp? my plan is.

-Full engine rebuild find some missing ponies.
-Set of Cams
-4 branch, decat'd exhaust
-Induction kit with cold feed (more noise then ponnies probly lol)
-Remapped ecu (i have seen on ebay they sell whole units?)

Am hoping that would see me around 180 bhp after i have it built and done it shall be rolling roaded to find out :)

Thanks in advance

P.S This is going to be my 1st track day car lol :thumb:

take a look a nobbysnova build, hes got 180bhp with bike carbs and it owes him approx £600 iirc

You wont see 180 bhp with those 'mods'

You need to ideally change the inlet side for that (as above)

i would predict 165-170bhp on those mods, dependant on cams obviously.

cam's and remapp gave me 148hp at the wheels. more if i ad adjustable pulley's.

-Remapped ecu (i have seen on ebay they sell whole units?)

you DONT buy an ecu, get it properly chipped on a dyno.
every engine is different, so youre not taking it to it's max on some ebay chip.
