are 1.0 and 1.4 altenators interchangable?

as above? went to connect the 1.0 loom up to the 1.4 altenator and it doesnt seem long enough and the 1.4 has 2 spade connectors and only 1 nut conector thing?

you have to change the wiring, i had to for engine conv. But i dont know if it fits on a 1l engine.

you will need to change the main power lead over from the battery down to the starter

on a 1ltr its different to the rest so you will have to change it get one from a 1.2 or bigger and use that
