currently unsure whether or not to fit PAS to my nova XE
i would be using a Corsa B EPS set up
my XE has standard steering rack and standard F20 G/box
car is an every day car, normal driving but my yearly mileage is peanuts as im away with work alot!
i do however like modern gizmos
please vote and put your simple factual reasons for or against PAS
thats is all and Moooocho grassy asslol
Depends what you using it for? If everyday drive, i would. But then again theres no point stripping all the interior, then fitting PAS surely?

Martin keolson fitted his mk2 dash ok,just had to move the fuse box accross abit
aslo will the igition key line up to nova steering cowling
Corsa's with EPAS have different fuse box, so it will be tight in a nova.
Your need to buy a bit from ebay that will let you control it (Your have to set it high when parking etc, and low on the move).
Im doing the conversion on my cars when i can be botherd.
Edit: The key should line up ok (Your want the nova one of course, it will fit as my old corsa SRi had a nova one)

Hi
I have fitted Corsa EPAS on my Nova & i has been in now for about 4yrs with to date no hasstle.
Personally i drove std Nova XE for years without PAS & wasnt until i fitted a QuickRack & LSD i fealt the need for PAS, so i would say std XE no real need.
If anyone is 'serious' about fitting PAS i will always assist where i can with any questions via e-mail.

I voted yes, my reason being that i think its cool to update older cars, making them easier to drive, and therefore allowing you to use them more :)
However i dont agree with the company that update E-types, thats a no no!

^^^ wot he said, if you have a quickrack and good power that results in torque steer then aye fill yer boots if not then theres not much point.
