does it make that much difference running an mpi engine on a carb tank ?
or is it the outlet size thats the problem ?

Yeah, run it with less than half a tank and the engine will start misfiring when you go round a bend lol

im considering converting a 5 door to mpi, but 3 door tanks wont fit the shell.
whats the best option, an spi tank from a 5 door with the internal pump removed/disconnected ?

sorry to crash the thread im just fitting an xe in mine jimbob and in the same dilema lol is there anyway the car would be fine with the carb tank as its not for track use.
