That's what I thought...

I'd be running scared if my name was on the V5.
Certainly looks like a broken back lol

Its not sagging, thats just how it looks due to the back not being chopped straight. Plus the rear suspension is lower than the front, so that makes the sills appear to slant backwards whilst the top of the pickup area appears to slant upwards.

I love it, that's awesome, more pics?

It would have cracked the filler/paint etc also, plus it really shouldn't fall apart where the maximum bracing is - but who knows.

I always thought the square rear window cut out spoiled this one.

Recognise this a few months ago off here i think. absolutly love it, if you don't buy it let me know!

Not sure which wheels would suit it the most, i may be tempted to get 17s for it. something modern aswell, ie. off new vxr's or whatever are 4 stud.

i think its a dog tbh, seen much better ones.

blue_peg_16v

imo loons need 16s or 17s due to the rounded arches

you cant see the lines arent straight in the flesh tbh i never noticed it untill that pic, im thinking bbs wheels like what they use on golfs, think some fella on here has a set on his red loon, like it or hate it i couldnt give a toss i love it, its been well built and i have no doubt that its structually sound, a new back window is something i will look into, its running a 'let' at the moment but that will be pulled out and im gonna throw a v6 in the front, its all seam welded and strengthend so ready to roll, going leather recaro's, gsi dash, black carpets etc, i need something to use every day, thats comfy, reliable and practicle

rofl took the words right out of my mouth.

For the money your throwing at this you could have a 4-5 year old reliable car with all modern extras.

L14MNP
27-01-10, 02:41 PM
nice interior

I hope you stick to your Recaro plan and not Calibra leather then mate!

brake-dust
27-01-10, 02:46 PM
yep a 4-5 year old car i cant afford to insure lol i can insure a 2.5 v6 nova for just over a grand, anything like a forus 1.8 etc is well over that, i'll be more than happy if the project owes me under a grand, which tbh it should do easy, shell wasnt mega expensive

calibra leather **** then?

Ben
27-01-10, 02:48 PM
you can insure a modified nova pick up with v6 with all mods declared cheaper than a standard focus!

Thats impossible!

Its foul IMO. Horrible shaped seats with no side support and covered in nasty cheap plastic cows. Each to their own though.

Is your car being built up alongside his pile of lies in that barn too then?

I thought it was sagging too but im pretty sure its the light because if you hold a straight edge up against the top left rear of the pickup and the right hand bottom of the mirror it all seems ok to me lol thats my theory anyway
