Nice work going on here. Liking the idea of beefing up the rear mount!

djbrowney

liking that rear mount a lot, but does that obstruct the gear linkage.

nice project mate !

Adam
20-02-10, 08:12 PM
Looks like the linkage should sit above that new bracket, so should be ok

nice project mate !

its close but ive welded a cav linkage after the pivot on the mount so i can change the bush, the plate is about 8mm off rack nut, i did the mount like this as when the three bolt mount is fitted i find it hits the bolt head when selecting first and that the threads where poor in the box

got few bits more done, extended the harness in some places, just waiting on the loom tape to come then just a few things to finish off and its done

the oil cooler sits in the grill but where i have got the boost pipe the grill will be week so im goin to cut up a few old grills to see what i can do,

Adam

The inlet does have "a lot" of welding on it to crack, if you get me...

getting all rewelded so just hope it lasts as wanting to run 18 psi really so if it cracks again will have to get another one made up, but i have faith in the welder

well nova is back in garage after blowning up engine on way home from pvs, managed to the 1/4 mile at 12.4 on different strips. got a few thinks to do over winter plus new engine hoping to get into 11's as was only runnin 16psi, fitted rear discs and ran the speedo off them, fitted the grill, adding another slider for passenger window as gets too hot on long journeys, got new shafts as snapped one at pvs as lmf ones are ****.

standard rods with arp's, left the pod and sat in 6th at 65mph for 100miles and just went, think the engine over revved when i snapped a shaft and then snapped the cv. snapped a steel rod last year but a arp rod bolt gave way.

think they are reyland 4 pots with 305mm discs
