Hi,

Does anyone have any pictures of this car? I've had a look and can't see any. Would be greatful as it's making me re-think the styling of my car.

Benn - That may explain why i'm struggling to find any pictures.

Couple of Q's.

Is it a MK2?
And How are the back window surrounds so black?

Yes its a mk2 and the surrounds are painted, simples :)

F plate = mk1 or if you ask Matt Brown its a mk1.5

My first thoughts were a mk1.75 but you could be right with it having a face lift

Its Martin Hills old Car, Nick painted it white and put a standard GSi front on it.

Reshelled into K767HUA.

Yeah it is, started a red Sr, then a minty whitey green, then white, then pink, then white pink and blue, then white.

IIRC when it was pink it did a bit of roundabout mounting hence it came back multi coloured and face lifted.

used to love that when it was the really pale green/while colour, mk1 front, with sr/gte bumpers, and smooth tailgate

if anyone's got pic's of it like that, get them up :)

yes, but it was originally a mk1 shell

If I had a pound for every time I was asked about that car! lol Rick is indeed correct.... Martin hit a rounabout when it was all pink and whilst it was in for repair it some how ended up the crazy colour scheme from Martin Kelsons r/c car! Did look very nice white though. I ran it everyday for 18 months and enjoyed every minute of it. Those previous pics were taken for my for sale thread for it. If you have any qu's Id be glad to answer them for you c2 vxl. Here's a few more pics from the same day.............

Unfortunatly the shell in certain areas needed work and a friend of mine who bought it from me already had a mint shell so decided to just use all the good bits from it rather than repairing the said areas. Once it had been re shelled I bought it back and over a period of approx 5 years it turned into this..........

Really like the car both when it was white and red. Saying that i like the yellow one too.
