right im at a mates trying to wire a c16se up.

Its a 1.2 spi.

Ive cut the wires from the old 1.2 ecu for my connections for the c16se engine loom.

So ive connected as follows.

C16se ----------- 1.2 loom
red --------------- both reds on 1.2 loom at ecu
black --------------black at 1.2 ecu
brown and blue----- brown and blue
red and blue-------- red and blue
light blue ----------- left as old temp sensor wire being used
green --------------- left as no rev counter

any ideas why the fuel pump isnt kicking any fuel out?

from what ive read before the 1.2i is the worst ones to do a conversion on. i also beleave the best way to go about it is remove all of the 1.2i management and start again.

Youve probably connected the red/blue for the c16 fuel pump to the red/blue Speed sensor wire on the SPi loom!

Have you just cut some of the wires off the spi ecu plug, and then joined them to the c16 loom?
Thats how i did my old conversion, its the best way to do it in a spi, without ripping the loom in bits.

from the 1.2 Spi loom ive cut the wires off the 2 1.2 ecu plugs.

The red/blue for the fuel pump is defo the correct wire as i traced it back to the fuel pump.

do i need a new fuel relay ??

The fuel pump wire doesnt go to the ecu.
It goes from the fuel pump relay to the fusebox

for the fuel pump wire i attached it down the side of the passengers seat.

I know thats the right wire.

at the 1.2 ecu there was 2 plug's do i connect the same colour wires from each plug?

also the black on the c16se i connected to a black from the old 1.2 ecu plug is this right?
