exhaust problem

ive put a grp n exhaust system from motorsport direct onto my 1.4sr, problem is it leaked like a bitch at the universal joint to manifold, i put a new sealing gasket thingy on as its got a sri manifold but its still leaking and has pushed in or worn away some of the flange on the gasket, any ideas fellas. :?:

If it's not sealing then you may have a rough edge where they touch. Get some Scotchbrite and clean all the surfaces and put some exhaust sealer on the ferite gasket. Might help it out a bit.

some look like compressed wire wool (my new one)

my old one looked like solid lead or something - these are cr@p and break / split all the time also, get the wire wool look alike.........
