Filter probs

I bought a K&N Bolt on filter off another novaload user and it arrived today. I opened it up and the filter was there but there were fixing bolts to bolt it to the carb.

I sent him a cheque and he sent me the filter.
(the money hasn't been taken out yet)

What are my options and what should i do?

Is there any other way of bolting it on without these? I couldn't find one!

were there fixing plates (top and bottom plate)?

Its possible he/she forgot to enclose them - PM them and ask nicely.

Alternatively goto K&N website and ask them whether they do the bolts seperately.

Theres only 3 of them - rods that screw into the carb and then through both plates.

Was the package damaged?

No the package was fine. All nicely wrapped up. I have sent a PM yesterday but got no reply yet. The cheque has cleared now so there isn't much i can do if it all goes belly up!
