Nova GTE Colour question.....

Hello.

Went and had a look at a Nova GTE this evening on an H plate (1990).
Got there and noticed that it was metalic black, i thought that the GTEs were in solid black ! Is this right ?
So does anybody know if they did the GTEs in metalic black or has this been resprayed.....

H1 GTE is Diamond Black but not 100% sure if it's had a respray mate

Most I've seen are solid black though

I'd say metallic black is failry 'new' so it's unlikely it's a factory colour mate. All I've ever seen is solid.

Ive never heard of a metallic black nova gte Shaun but you have to think cav gsi's and other vaux models were about in 1990 and available in diamond black metallic so Id say it was possible. Most manufacturers even nowadays offer metallic or pearl colours at extra cost when ordering brand new. So If someone requested it from new in metallic it could well be original.

Iirc H1 GTE is the original colour and is Diamond Black so i'd say what your looking at is genuine
