Help with choosing rims

Right well i am not sure on what rims to put on my Nova at the moment and would like some ideas, any opinion appreciated , was thinkin of a few different ones like speedlines, slabs, vectra sri alloys, but not 100% sure, and also would someone post some pics of my car if i e-mail them. Speedlines are a WIN on most Nova's

Slabs IMO are a no no - Cheap and tacky looking

a wheel iv yet to see on a nova theres probably a reason is a 6 spoke toyota glanza speedline there a nice rim

i do like the slabs, speedlines would be my favourite though they are quite dear brand new, any other other types of rims that people think would look well

A mate of mine has just taken a set of those of his Corsa so I thought I'd try them on mine, a good looking wheel i thought, totally wrong offset for a nova and won't fit, they stick out past the arches lol

They are the Starlet wheels but look how high it is lol his is lowered 60mm so they won't fit under the arches.

comps are pretty damn nice, but i think i mite go with the speedline allesios for the nova not sure, allesios might look well on my nova if they were painted white or maybe grey, still considering other alloys at the moment

well i just dont want to spend to much, though i am gonna sell my opel rims so probably around the £300-500 mark, will probably get second hand allesios, though i might just try and get the ole man to fork out some money lol

I would possibly look to spend less on the wheels and maybe get something vaux and spend the rest on coilovers.

Something clean and simple on the car as you've got all the grey. Maybe some cesaros. I wouldn't go vectra sri.

If going 15s you need to have the low profile tyres to look cool, especially combined with the lower stance.

p.s. I'd lose the splitter too. Such a nice clean example and the splitter just doesn't look right imo.

cheers, yeah the sofstars would look good will have to photoshop my picture later with those on it, the splitter annoys me even though it is only lowered 30mm, it catches on the kirbs just haven't got round to taken it of, so thinking about getting rid of it and getting gsi bumpers instead

keep it vauxhall id say, cant go far wrong with gte 3 spokes in the colour of your choice, but theres plenty to choose from on astra's, cavs and vectra's

yeah, was considering that i have like sr ones without the slits in them they have opel on them, heres a pic, but they don't look rite so i am going to see if i can sell them and get sr ones possibly.

The best Vauxhall wheel for the nova has to be the Mk1 tigra 15" five spokes coupled with a 60mm drop, those wheels should of been fitted to novas from the factory they just look great! aggressive and fresh looking.

If i see another nova with a set of speedlines im going to scream!!! its been done to death, it just looks boring now.

Cav slabs look ok but theyre just too heavy

maybe try and fine some bbs/lenso euro style rim? or cav expressions do it for me, mainly on mk1's tho
