help
you have points at a young and inexperienced age - tough luck lol
have you tried specialist brokers ? or ringing companies not just price comparison websites

unless youve got mega bucks, youll have to do like the rest of us did and drive round in a 1 litre for the first year.
I recommend selling the Nova and buying a cheaper car. I hear 2009 1.9 TDCi Focus' are cheap to insure lol

Its only £2k?
Or am I missing something?
A £500 deposit isnt alot to find, if you can't, then save up over 3 months:)

newer cars are generaly cheaper to insure than older ones as they are generaly lower grouped and easier to get parts and repair
eg the company i used to work for grouped cars 1-99 a 89 1.1 fiesta was group 26 but an 04 1.6 mini one is only group 14 value of the car makes very little difference the risk is the damage you could cause to others and with points and at your age your a massive risk hence the prices your getting
I'd learn to not text type.
the tdci focus will spank your ass too lol.
best way i found to get it down is to list 2 or 3 named drivers (women 30 - 50 work best). in doing this you are still the policy holder but they take it that you are driving the car less frequently therefore less risk. also crook locks work good
i always put my mum as a named driver as it take £200-£300 off mine usually
put ma mum and mother-in-law went from 1750 to 1100 also try admiral and elephant they do 10 month policy which is cheaper
i know but they trade under different name one gave me 1175 the other 1100

Other companies probably won't honour NCB earned under a 10 month policy though. So you get stuck with the admiral/elephant/bell/diamond/sheilas/whoever admiral are trading as (lol) renewal price which in the long run could work out more expensive.

this is very true as although you have a years ncd with named companies you havent completed a years cover so others wont accept it i know the old company i worked for wouldnt
