Anyone have gear ratio info for the F20 and F28?

The F28 is the 6 speed box fitted to the LET.

Im hopefully going for the F28 on my xe build, I think 6th on the motorway will be nice:)

you had best get a LOT of power from the XE then... otherwise its not going to pull at all in 6th.


I dont think there is a link to F28 ratios, but I'll mod the site to let it access the ratio arrays and display the ratios held for each gearbox.

On teh road they are very similar - the F28 is just like an F20 with an extra gear...:)

There are a few F20's tbh


edit, its gonna take me a little while to work out how to make it dump the gear ratio's in a nice way lol

Just had a closer look at the ratios. This would mean that a slightly better acceleration can be had with the F20. Are the ratios above the CR box?

yes, F20CR box.

afaik there isnt a f20WR, only thing i can find is that there are 4 types of diff ratios. 3.42 , 3.55 , 3.57 and 3.72
