when i got my nova it came with the astra mk2 clocks in and it the one with the peak rev counter.now are they ready for the bin or what every now and then everything just freeze and more than often than not clock the miles.should i just get rid and put the standard ones back in?

TBH , I couldn't make head nor tail of that.

If they work = super
If they don't work = change them

EDIT : I see what your saying now. Give the top of the dashboard a hit when they freeze. I find giving things a little bash helps persuade it to work.

If this technique for some reason fails you, I'd suggest either ..

Pulling it out and re-wire it all up again , make sure everything is nice a tight

Or

Replace the clocks with new items
