My flame red Mk2 breaking/some mk1 bits

E16SE engine and all my spares for it including working AFM, TPS, ICV I got from Mike, working fuel regulator and rail/injectors from Craig Green, spare head and all the valves etc if I can find them, pipercross filter I used on it, has good head gasket cam belt etc as were renewed only a couple thousand miles ago. Head on the engine is on 140k ish but still runs well, and the spare head is a 50k ish unproved but the block agrees with this. I had problems with the engine fuelling when I had it but obviously a new working set of injectors afm, tps etc etc included in sale. Want to sell it as an entire package including exhaust as I had this made up especially to mate an ashley system with the magnex downpipe I had which is a 4-2-1. It also has a high lift cam of unknown origin and I believe I still have 2 good camshafts to include.

Full long engine, 2 spare standard camshafts, head, known working sensors, known working fuel rail injectors and fuel regulator, box, shafts (3 recent CV's on these) loom, ecu, 4-2-1 manifold, filter, any spares I have laying around and exhaust system included for: £275 OVNO collection only. Will need a little notice as I'll have to splice the loom out of my car loom, did it with crimps and not an engine plug. Yes I realise this is shonky old C20XE money, but it is a recently checked over engine with new gaskets etc on it, with a fairly unique exhaust as well as uprated camshaft/filter included and plenty of spares and I don't really want to let it go.


Shell: Bare shell rolling on steelies and big block conversion hubs (so I was told, not sure what I'm looking for to check tbh) with harnesses in, grey dash carcass steering rack and column, bonnet and tailgate on, everything else removed unless stated otherwise, £50. - Available end of may, as I have uni work/revision to catch up on atm and it still needs stripping down.

Anyone wanting the whole shell should probably PM me for full details, but it's fairly clean apart from some rust around the front cross member which isn't much worse than paint flaking, battery tray has gone to the point of starting to leak very slightly (no puddles, just a brownish mark on the bulkhead) rear arches look fine but are structurally filler (no rust though, bit of an old school repair) Also has a welded in rear strut brace which I'll sell with the harnesses on as they're solid loops on the end lol. The OS chassis leg is bent under the drivers seat mount, and it seems to pull left slightly on very hard braking, however it's fine to drive daily, and I'm not sure how much of the pull is due to tracking etc, or whether the chassis leg is actually affecting it at all.


The seats, loom, wheels, brakes, most of the smaller ancillary bits fuel lines header tank etc are staying with me to go in my new shell. Basically everything that's mk2 is for sale. Ask for anything you're not sure of.

Carbon fibre centre vent panel/blank/fancy thing. Not perfect as the epoxy round the edge is a little messy, hence why I redone it via a different method and it's now for sale! The carbon fibre sheet to do it cost me £36 plus the hours to cut/shape/finish it. Offers welcome though. £15

Bits off the Mk1:

This isn't breaking (It's being built!) But certain bits I won't be needing/wanting.

Flush tailgate with mk1 spoiler, has a properly flushed (plate welded on top) rear tailgate with rear wiper and mk1 spoiler on it, quite nicely painted up but a bit shoddy around the spoiler, not really noticable until up close. £20 or will swap for an early mk1 tailgate (round lock/no grab handle) or part ex on fibreglass?

Pair adjustable wing mirrors, pretty sure i have the adjuster handle on them too. Will put the grey caps off the Mk2 on them.

£25, no idea on the actual mileage, they were adjusted to reflect the cars mileage when I put them in. But, they're clocks, no one seems to ask a mileage on brake calipers, so it always confused me why they do with clocks lol

Car is in Reading, doors were fixed up last summer, and have very minimal surface rust in the bottoms only.
