i want a loud exhaust

ive got a mk2 1L nova, Ive heard bad things about the peco and i dont like then angle it sticks out at!

what exhaust should i get which will fit and be loud, the bigger and louder the better.

Because its only a 1L would it be better just getting a back box instead of full system.

i quite like the magnex 4 inch are these anygood and will it fit does any1 else have any other ideas?

i have got a fireblade reace can on a rover 416gti and its mental, you cant hear yourself think! and it looks well different, all ya get is "is that a bike can - Fookin hell!"

the way foreward is either slash cut dragpipes or bike cans - you decide!!!! 8)

or get a load of old exhaust pipe, run it straight from you manifold and out the side of your car, no boxes!!!

why u want loud exhaust?

Only attracts unnecessary attention to yourself and the police will soon pull you over!

Just drill holes in yer back box!

if its a backbox then yes............

as for complete syetsm im unsure because the 1 ltr is OHV rather than OHC and the manifold is on the back

if u want it to be loud, just take the back box off then that will save money so you can buy a bigger engine!!!

get just the back box n u can tranfer it to another nova if need be, dont get a too loud one coz belive me it will give u a headache, oh yeah dont go bigger than 3.5" coz it looks stupid unless u have big power u dont need it. other than that happy moding

Im with ADE, drill holes in your exhaust.

take the back box off and weld a bit of pipe so it looks like normal, and you might get flames?!!!!?!?!?

you won't get flames! :lol: it will sound poo with just a pipe you need to put open megaphones on it and then you will have a nice sound!

like funnels, but the opposite way round on the end of the pipe. improves the air flow so exhaust gasses can escape faster

...your cool :roll: if you drill holes wont you end up with a poping sound? whouldnt you prefer a satisfying werble rather than a tw@tish "i cant afford an exhust" sound. no offence mate but things like that give novas a bad name. ....quite like the side exhuast idea though.
