Any related pictures required please, works in progress, finished articles etc. I know its not to every ones tastes but really have no choice having a motorised screen head unit, any help of step by step and materials used will be much appreciated.

Thanks Graeme

A note for anyone considering this the air ducts need to be modified to fit the head unit in, which might jeopardise how quick the screen clears on a cold day

xxX nova Xxx put a mk3 astra display in one, similar size to a head unit, worth a look in his thread

its near the end

You need to be carefull doing this. As part of the air ducting that directs the air to the screen is in there...

Cut the ducting and plastic weld it back together to fit around the HU, or use gaffer tape. lol

I think gaffer tape is the better option as its like cardboard, and its not the end of the world loosing the screen vents as it'll have a heated screen

The two parts are trimmed in Alcantara (you wouldnt believe what that cost years ago!)

As i no longer have a use for them if your interested i could be persuaded to part with them for cold hard cash!!

Did try to find a pic of it all installed but couldnt as was well before i had i digi camera.

+Rep and thanks for the offer Martin but it'd be a shame for me to have to undo all that hard work, just have it flocked to match every thing else
