What can i expect from a mk6 Transit on 210k? Its free on the terms i maintain and repair what damage it has now.

I had a look on the Transit forum, but no help there really without registering, also i know a few people have them on here.

So any advice appreciated:thumb:

Is it Commonrail or direct inj? If its Direct I would avoid like the plague as the pumps are useless and uber expensive to replace. Mine died after 80k and Ford refused to touch it due to me being just over my service interval.

Free's free though :) They are the nicest vans to drive IMHO.

Just keep the damn thing within its service contract, they won't budge an inch if something goes wrong when it goes over.

Are those the ones that share the mk3 mondeo engines? If so, the engine is just about run in. :D

My mate likes to call diesel Jag X-types the Transit engined one. lol

Thats because they are. The mk3 mondeo and one of the transits both use the Puma codenamed engine. The X type is more bling on the mondeo chassis lol.
