Hi,

Do you think a 195/80/15 tyre would fit in saloon arches, Just a mad idea i had.

Nope, 195/60 is the limit on 15s for usable wheels if you still want full lock-to-lock steering ability.

Thanks RJ

No monster truck, just bored of my nova suspension and low profile tyres givin me back ache. So trying to make it a bit more comfortable, and i wanted to put some a/t tyres on it so it will go across mud and snow and stuff. And jack it up a bit so im not sitting on the floor.

that what i was going to do , but with the bigger tyres, but as they won't fit i might go with some 60's.

My 60s are fine, fit the saloon and IMO fill out the arches nicely.

I find you get a tiiiiny bit of rubbing sometimes on the inner arch at the front if you corner on full lock, I would guess that I'm down around 40mm on the front as the old XE springs were 40mm and I have around about the same gap on the arch than with them.

My coilies are rock solid on the front, very little give, all my suspension travel is in the tyres and they smooth things over nicely.

With the XE weight in:
