Road car? Are they both standard?

I went for the 1.6 16v for my daily runner but in all fairness you can have as much fun in either if the setups okay.

id go 1.6 straight swap uses nova shafts and mounts so cheaper to do to just makes sure you get the transducer and key for the imoberliser

C16xe don't need the transducer and chip. :thumb: Even more straight forward, only 7 wires to connect.

I've had both and I would definitly say big block xe,only because I like the power of a 20xe over a c16xe,assuming you're keeping them both standard that is!

iv had both in the same car , 1.6 is better to drive although not as powerful but very very tunable!!

1.6 imo

c20xe 150 bhp nuff said home dog! Cya at the Strip!

On a serious note.

I would go for a c20xe 150 bhp very quick in a light weight nova :) Fueling isnt to much of a problem (you will get more mpg because the nova is lighter)
just dont use that loud pedal to much mate :)

LMFAO lol

MPG is true, the XE I had in my saloon returned a decent 35-40mpg. The advantage being even with light throttle it went fast.
