right, ive had it. i want answers to these 2 things,

1. ebay fukkwits. i advertise my car as clearly as poss, i put my number in, and get spackers at 8-9pm calling about it. tell em all the details etc, they tell me they are coming for a look the next day. then i get a text at some point saying they are on their way and they never show. what is the intention of these halfwit ba$tards?? then theres the stupid 18 year old chavs asking if id swap for a fezzy mk3 pop plus with an xr2 kit. or if i'd take £300 cash as "thats all its worth" is it fukk, its got a book value of £1400. grrrr to$sers. all i want is to sell the thing, pay my wedding costs and buy a cheap nova.
2. cars for sale. why are they either, a, miles a fooking way or b, magically not for sale when you call the vendor. whats up, you need it to sell crack or ferry your 13 illegitemate kids about? stop wasting my time and fuk off and die. http://www.vaux-extreme.com/forum/images/smilies/msn_angry.png

rant over, please discuss.

btw this is not a comment on any member of this site.:thumb:

I had the same when i had the cav on pissedonheads, had it up for 1400 wanting someone to beat me down in price rather than say £1000 and someone tip up with £700

Put in the ad price or swap for an XE nova, and had a few emails offering me things like a mitsi FTO for one lol

i know. now i for one understand that over the last 10-15 years we have bred a nation of halfwit crack pipe smoking frozty jack drinking mongtards, but ffs its not hard. the best one was the lad with the scottish accent telling me he was in birmingham. has ebay surrendered t a usergroup of dribbling dole clowns? or have i just had a run of bad luck? last time it was on there i had 1 bid at the starting price of £500 and 44 watchers. why watch if your not gonna bid? its like going on redtube (other smut sites available) and NOT bashing the puppets head in. the same guy has put the start bid on the last 3 times. ive emailed him telling him the reserve and that its no where near the starting, and he mailed back to state "one day youll be pis$ed off and put it on for no reserve. then i'll win it." like fukk you will sunshine, i will get friends to bid it up, rules or not. rahhhh!!

admitting that you get your mates to 'bid up' your auctions is hardly going to help you sell things lol

Then your friends win said item, whoops lol

why watch if your not gonna bid?
Guilty, although I quite often stick items in my watch list for reference, i.e. if I'm shopping round for something and there's a few of them on ebay, I may bung a couple most likelies in my watch list. Or if there's something I want to sell, not sure what it'll go for so find something similar on ebay and watch it to see the final price. Or if its something I just fancy seeing what the final price is, tis easier to bung it in the watch list rather than do a completed item search.

As aaaRJaay says, there's nothing wrong with watching items. It gives you an idea of their value for buying/selling your own. Or sometimes I'll add something to the watch list and the the noobs will go bid crazy, pricing me out of the game but I still keep it there for sh!ts and gigs and see how much the earlybidbrigade is prepared to fork out.

As for the cars, it depends what you're after and how much money it is (buying or selling) as to whether you encounter stupid gimps offering you shat all as a part ex or the vendor not being available/not answering phone etc IMO.

Saying that though Sloth, there's always someone willing to ring up and take the p!ss etc. Example, my mate has this (http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1434425.htmthis) up for grabs ATM. Some joker rang him the other night giving him the Terry Tibbs craic. lol. He was good too! You get them everywhere.

You're very very likely to get them with an old E36 though I'd say. It's just one of those cars.

i sold my astra on ebay as spares or repairs put ma number email and told bidders to come view. some f@*k bought it for £500, sent someone to pick it up and pay for him so hadnt seen the car till it got to him. i then got a phone call saying the turbo was blown and the mileage was wrong (clocked before i bought it unknown to me) and he wanted me to collect the car and give him his money back and cost of the tow @ £120.00. i said if he brought it back as sold he could have the £500.00

he then kept calling me with warnings of court action and as my daughter was in hospital with meningitis and he wouldn't leave me alone i kindly told him i would see him in court.

cut a long story short he knew what he was doing i lost and got ordered to pay £2200.00 for the car, court cost, storage fees.

**bonus is i only pay £15.00 a month back**

Why didn't you just open an eBay dispute mate?

Fcuk paying all of that out! It's his fault he can't read your clearly worded advert.

ksw46

his main dispute was miliage but if the mot and clocks say 120,000 how do i know its done 250,000

at least i only pay him £15.00 a month so he wont get the money all at once and it will take 12 years to pay back what i "owe" him lol

now if that was me i would have appealed against the courts decission
as if some one hasnt made the effort to read or come veiw the car before being bought then it is there own fault..
how long ago did you get taken to court as a solicitor can still take it back to court for appeal if not left to long

Edd

i agree with napalm, should of appealed.

bet he's well happy.

Quids on that was down to the mileage and nothing else. Courts don't like people selling clocked cars.

Mind you, how he managed to prove it if the MOT mileage calls in your favour... was your lawyer asleep during the hearing? lol

didnt have a lawyer as it was small claims. the mot cert must of been doctored as he got proof of milliage from dvla. judge said although i had made an honest mistake and hadnt tried to decieve anyone the car was misadvertised and rule he have a refund + costs

There are morons out there that seem to have this kind of attitude. They seem to be compulsive time wasters.

I hate it when they offer something that you dont want, or offer something that is stupidly not worth the time of day.

I mean "Dont ask dont get" usually gets some people some places, got me a few jobs so far!! but unfortunatly people can take it WAY too far offer something way too low to the value with the line "Thats what its worth" which is usually bollox!

These people need to be rounded up & kicked a couple times or till they get the idea that people aren't going to cut their asking price in half because you offered them a rusty, clapped out yugo in PX.

Your best bet is to say OVNO and say that it has to be a VERY close offer, no PX/Swap AT ALL, this way you can avoid most of the muppets.

Just ignore the idiots out there and for those with these attitudes just ignore them and give them attitude later on!
