Car Data check

Can anyone remember the site for the free data check on cars? Think it was RAC ? Don't need full hpi report, just to see if the car is what it says on the tin. ( Tried a quick search but can't find anything on here):thumb:

the only one i use is my car check does the basic checks for £3.95. came in very useful for me earlier nearly bought a cheap escort gti but then used that and found out it had outstanding debts and was a cat d write off in 2001, if you can id use that.

Depends what info you need to know.

www.vehiclelicense.gov.uk will tell you basic stuff about taxation, colour, engine etc. If you want to know more than that, you'll need a paid for service.

Just tried about 5 different cars on that.... nothing came up for N.I reg cars, just my c280 which was bought in england last year. Hmmm....
