Id do the same, im not overly keen on Saph's.

Get £1800ish for the engine alone, another £400 to 600 for the box.

Yep. Maybe more for the engine if you sell it with loom etc ready to go.

I couldn't break a 3dr or an Escort though, unless it was gazebo'd!

Cos it's a YB Cosworth engine which is a fantastic lump. That says it all.

Check the bay.

its a 20 year old ford, with ford build quality, and a 20 year old turbo engine thats been stood.........

it will be a money pit, like every other ford cosworth!

sure it will be cool, go fast, and get nicked at the first opportunity by the local scum....

Something looks very fishy about it to me, i would say the fact it has "ownership issues" is iffy straight away, and then theres the white vents, and what looks like a re-glued badge, so could easily be a ringer, or a home made re-shell out of parts etc.

i dont see the appeal of the yb tbh,all it is is a pinto with a twin cam head and an old style ecu and turbo. duratec on bodies tbh.

that looks like a dog imo.

whats with the white vents ?

and its a ford which says it all really.

just like a lets an ne with a 16v head and a turbo then get real a duratec will never produce the power a yb can just like a 2.0 16v ecotec on tbs wont touch a let with the same money spent on it
