the mounts are correct from what i can see and to be fair the rear mount can be a pain in the ass but it should line up with a bit of brut force get jack under it to help line the holes up

As Mr Blue said make sure you don't do the rest up to tight, you want them to move so you can giggle it about.

either lever it all to get it right or modify your rear bracket by drilling a hole so the holes line up, normally only need to do that when running ally mounts though.

The front mounts are all loose, we tried everything to get it to line up, but with no luck.

I have ordered a new offside mount and i think i will fill them with sealant

That will make it worse as there will be no movement to help line things up.

to be fair re looking at your pictures the engine looks to be too far over to the passangerside the rubber is all dragged out

Are the pictures pictures of you car? Drivers mount need slacking odd IMO. And the bolts might want to bee in the bottom 2 holes? As said though, leave the others loose and jiggle FTW lol

Is that bolt not fitted...??? I thought you couldnt get it in??

Not liking the look of those std rubber engine mounts!!!

Id elongate the rear mount hole, although on standard engine mounts you should be able make it line up quite easily as you will have a lot of "give"

I wasnt sure about drilling the hole out guys,

Adam the front mounts are due to be changed one the new ones arrive, And the bolt it in the larger of the holes in that mount like this one

Ah right, i get you.

You could try bolting that mount up first, and then trying the front two?

I always do the rear mount last though.

I will have to give it a go again, The temper was starting to get the best of me yesterday, which may not have helped lol.

Plus with wee one on way any day soon i wanted to get it in lol

The back one is really awkward but we found the best way was to use a trolley jack to get it in the right place, or you can slacken the two that hold the rubber mount to get a bit more movement.

i find it easier to bolt the mount to the car before the gearbox then use either a hoist or a jack to line up and bolt the mount to the gearbox i always do the fronts first
