other week i started by getting the car in the air and wax oiling it all.then off came the back bumper and i rubbed the odd bubbles it had and waxed oiled all behind the bumper then painted over that in red to make it look better than just red and put it back on.so after a few weeks ive made a move and removed the boot handle which im going to rub down and paint same colour as the bumpers(when ive made mind up what colour)took mudflaps off and removed doors strips also took alloys off and put some nasty 13inch steels on.made me wanna:cry: when i looked at it with 13s on .as my vinyl as been took off before by someone they have put strips back on with gule on one side so im having fun getting gule off:mad: http://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu260/wayneys_sri/Photo104.jpghttp://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu260/wayneys_sri/Photo112.jpghttp://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu260/wayneys_sri/Photo115.jpg

im not mate the vinyl as already been removed then at sometime been painted back on bout due to havin the odd bubble im goin to sort them and repaint it back on.and strips are going back too going to stick them better after a paint

thanks mate plans are to sort any spot of rust it as starting to re do the grey on the bottom of the car and take vinyl off pillow post due to damage on it then have that either sparyed back on or re vinyl it then get strips back on but put on better than they have been put on before.then change the colour of the bumpers to a shade darker just to blend with bottom of car a bit more want to keep it looking like a sri as much as i can.and get my speedlines back on repaint drums get my 2.0 brakes on then should be all good:thumb:

oh yea ive heard of them areas i think the one u saw at motorsave was my mates old nova but had all my old bits off my 1.2 if you click my link you will see my old one.i took it off road end of dec and dont seem to be doing back at getting things done but i defo want it all done for pv show lol

just a little update not much but havent touched it for bout a month then last week fired her up and 1st turn of key and it was runing brill!! then was stood aweek and came to start it tuesday and were dead haha.but im startin to get in the mood again as the suns out lol.before the painter comes for it few things to take off bumpers front and rear lights then its all his as hes removing all windows etc.ive got back bumper off so thats my 1st move think the reast will be off sat.also ive just got a brand new set of front repeters as mine have moss in them and im wanting it to look fresh.and today my SRI stickers have come for the doors.all proper size ones from the dealers what some has got there hands on.......will update with pics when the painter has it all stripped and rubbed down:thumb:
