Iv'e just bought my first amp and sub. A rockford 200watt amp and a rockford 400watt sub. What cabling should i use between the amp and the sub. Also between the battery and amp.

Thanx in advance

Big FAT expensive cable, you only need about 1/2 a meter so it shouldn't cost much if you buy from a reel. Try and get some thick grade battery wire and buy a supressor if you get whining noises, try to earth all parts of your ice system at the same point in the car

Well make sure the cable from the battery to the amp is 30A minimum. And 25A from the amp to the sub. I tried to cut corners, and it hardly made a sound. Spent ?30 on a 72A sub power pack, and it's LOUD now.
Also, y u only gettin a 200watt amp for a 400watt sub? I have a 400/400. Its just about right.

Also the earth for the amp needs to be as big as the live and you need to uprate the earth lead from the battery to the car so there are no "thin" sections in the circuit
