engine temp guage

i have a plug which is not connected to anything and my temp guage has gone all wonky lol

anyone know where the temp guage plugs into on a 1.0s?

on the back of the inlet manifold assuming the connector you have is a female spade connector ?

on the left side of the inlet manifold, its not a plug your looking for. more of a bronze 'thingy', cant explain. but the spade slides on it.
