cost me around £3, I just went down my local sign writers. I just asked him if he had any off cuts, Got some light grey, yellow & red.
I then just cut it to fit.

I did look at the original e30 like yours & also the pug 309 gti spoiler.

I've just ordered it, Yeh it looks like a straight fit hopefully, Will get some pics up once it arrives.

Once fitted will get some more pics up. Also thinking of getting some ats classics & lowering it a little more.
Its still only a 1.2 but wanting to fit another engine, I have a 2.0l lump That I was going to fit but want something simple like a 1.4 on carbs.

Never judge by the A*se lol

Make/model/where from

Its from a bmw e30/318i - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/audi_sline_club/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340

They are priced from £7.50 upwards but seems to be the same spolier in every pic, it bends to the shape of the panel so would fit most cars.

Black IMO.

How does it attach?

if your leaving it that wide its going to have to be colour coded. if your shortening it then black.

that vynal on the boot really suits it

He bought 2 x One has been colour coded which is sat drying. going to fit tommorow. The other is sat in a box in case the colour coded one looks crap lol, It is held with just 3m double sided tape.

Will take some pics when the camera is charged.

All it needs now is a good t-cut, Polish & wax, Lower it a little more & either fit some ats classics or ronal turbos - Job done.

Would have looked better if it was cut in the middle to retain the tapered ends IMO, but still looks ok.

How did you bond it on?

Edd

It is held with just 3m double sided tape.

There's the answer Razo.....

oopps Jack. lollollol

jack has a good point about cutting it in the middle!

either way a succesfull suttle mod, either colour coded or black i think you couldnt loose1

daft Question

couldnt you have left it full length? and not stuck it down where it over hung the bootlid?

Walshie_Loon
24-01-10, 10:54 PM
Jack: well done on your promotion.
I was going to cut it in the middle but the spoiler is made of rubber & would be very hard to re-join/fill so I just ended up just cutting the ends off.

I trial fitted it & thought about re-shaping the ends but thought it looked better straight cut due to the novas boxed shape lol. I sure you know what I mean.

sparkie1401:
I couldnt stick the spoiler down & leave the over hangs as the spoilers made of thin rubber so the ends kept bending slightly upwards.

I have another so might try something else oneday.

Thanks for the comments, Just need to do something with engine now.
