Its never been a LET thats the thing, its a converted XE. Later on the may well of added the normal LET inlet rather than there own. I don't think it was an 8v but not sure.

No, Mark Watts was a 1.6 8v Turbo. Then Jon Shield build A16V TB. Then Mark had a LET fitted.

A16V TB was fitted with a Turbo'd XE. However this was then removed and a proper LET was fitted.

Feature was in 1994 with the proper LET fitted. Car was built in 1992/3. Which is Crazy, there would have been VERY few cars could have been as fast back then.

There was a guy on mig selling a lot of old mags.... So I thought Id take the opportunity to snap up some features Ive always wanted to read really and that was all there was to it! I know his list doesnt go back that far for the max power feature on A16V TB but I thought total vauxhall may have also featured it at some point but it seems they havent so I was out of luck.

It was lovely to see It out again this year. I think the new colour applied to the wheels really suits it! I've actually never seen my pal move so fast when he saw your for sale ad in the window as he thought it was for the car!! Reading your recent comments regarding individuals slating the car at billing..... Its not something I would let bother you as at the end of the day It's a nova and I haven't seen one that's perfect to date! It's a great example with an exceptional history that one day will give you a greater return that probably any nova out their regardless of specification. Thumbs up from me for getting it back out to a few shows so we all get to enjoy viewing again.

Good to hear the car is still doing the rounds, I saw it at TRAX in 2004/5 & took a couple pics.

Legendary car, if only because so many people that have probably never even been near it claim to know so much about it's history. Oh & it's been on national TV.
