i no its a stupid question but does anyone no if they do a corsa gsi but the old style engine like the nova and i have herd that they do a 8v gsi corsa is this true? plz help needed quick lol

nope, i'm sure the corsa gsi was 16v...

lots of 8v 1600i engines have been stuck in them though

i have a nova gsi engine to go into a 1.4 8v corsa and i am really struggling with it to be honest the main thing is the wiring loom
just need a whole car loom i think, i have the engine loom though but i duno if they will plug in easy and wire up if you no what i mean
can anyone help

if you own the correct haynes book, and follow the wiring diagrams, then it should be fairly easy. is the corsa mpi?

surely trying to find a 16v 1600 from a corsa or an astra would be a much easier swap.

Is it a corsa sri? Mpi? If so couldn't you put efi set up off the 1.4 on 1600 engine and then just run it off the original loom? As I'm sure throttle body is the same on Sri as gsi? Correct me if I'm wrong

my corsa is a 1.4 8v duno what modle all i know is it is slow as ****.
i have been told that the nova gsi engines are alot more like revvy and they are the better engines?
